4. Accuracy of Results
ImgFix tools are designed to produce high-quality results using modern web technologies. However, please be aware of the following:
- Compression quality: Image compression involves trade-offs between file size and visual quality. Results may vary depending on the source image, selected quality settings, and browser implementation.
- Format conversion: When converting between image formats (e.g., JPG to PNG, JPG to WebP), some quality differences may occur due to inherent differences between format specifications.
- OCR accuracy: Text extraction (OCR) results depend heavily on image quality, font types, image resolution, and text clarity. OCR is not guaranteed to be 100% accurate and should be manually verified for important use cases.
- Background removal: Automated background removal works best with clear subject-background separation. Results may vary with complex backgrounds, fine details (like hair), or low-contrast images.
- Color accuracy: Color representation may vary between different browsers, operating systems, and display devices. The colors shown in our tools may not perfectly match how they appear on all screens.
We recommend always keeping a backup of your original images before processing and verifying results before using processed images in critical applications.
